HR & People Advisor - Anstey Manor School, Alton (Opening September 2026)

Join the founding team of a brand-new school and play a key role in shaping its culture and people. We're looking for an experienced HR professional to lead recruitment, onboarding, compliance and staff wellbeing. You'll be a resilient, confident communicator with a "can-do" attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

As HR & People Lead, you will play a central role in establishing HR practices for our new school. From recruitment and onboarding through to maintaining the Single Central Record, creating the Staff Handbook and supporting staff wellbeing, you'll ensure strong foundations for a positive and professional workplace.

About You

An excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally, with the confidence to engage at all levels. A motivated, resilient self-starter with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude. Someone who thrives in an innovative, fast-moving environment. Able to work independently while also being a supportive team player. Experience in HR within an education or similar setting is desirable.

Position:

Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (44 weeks)

Salary:

circa 35,000"
