We are seeking a HR and People Development Manager who will be responsible for managing all human resources functions, including recruitment and employee relations, whilst also designing and implementing training programmes tailored to the legal industry. This role ensure adherence to employment laws and supports the professional development of lawyers, paralegals and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Human Resources Management
o Develop and implement HR policies and procedures compliant with legal industry standards and regulations and aligned with company objectives.
o Manage recruitment and onboarding of legal professionals and support staff.
o Oversee employee relations, performance management and disciplinary actions.
o Ensure compliance with employment laws, confidentiality requirements and professional ethics.
o Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports for Senior Management.
Training and Development
o Assess training needs for lawyers, paralegals and administrative support and design and deliver targeted programmes.
o Coordinate Continuing Legal Education Programmes.
o Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and maintain documentation for regulatory audits.
Strategic Initiatives
o Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR and training strategies with business goals
o Support succession planning and talent development initiatives
o Drive employee engagement and retention programmes
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and/or Professional HR certification
2+ years-experience in HR Management and Training role
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 50,000.00-70,000.00 per year
