DSA Electrical is looking for a friendly and approachable person who is adaptable and flexible to join their team to take responsibility for Human Resources and Training. The role will be office based but hours and working days are negotiable. Minimum hours per week are 20 so maybe you can work 9.30 - 2.30 every day (25 hours per week) or you would rather do 3 longer days e.g. 8.30 - 4.30 with an hour's lunch break each day (21 hours per week). We will consider what option would work best for you (and us) and ideally you will be available to start in December.
The Human Resources and Training Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the Managing Director by managing various administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions as well as offering support to Line Managers. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience and a solid understanding of human resources processes. They will also be responsible for ensuring staff training is kept up to date, accurately recorded and for booking training courses.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee records within online systems such as PeopleHR and ClickUp
Coordinate the recruitment process and coordinating interviews.
Manage all platforms for recruitment purposes, promoting job openings and engaging with potential candidates.
Handle data entry tasks related to employee information, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support onboarding processes for new hires, including preparation of documentation.

Foster effective communication within the organisation by serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
Review and update policies
Monitor, review and book training to ensure employee and company compliance
Skills
Good knowledge of software such as PeopleHR and Click Up is desired.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records is crucial.
Previous administrative experience within an HR setting is essential.
