HR Assistant

to join our

BAE Air

contract based in

Blackburn

. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can manage a high workload, and is eager to develop a career in HR. You'll provide comprehensive HR administration and advisory support across the full emoloyee lifecycle, working closely with managers and the wider People Team.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll work

Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of

up to 28,805.93

per annum and 24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension, life assurance, and death in service.

What you'll do on a typical day:

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Data Protection Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, escalating complex issues Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes Perpare HR documentation including contracts, letters, and reports Assist with payroll queries and liaise with Shared Services Provide admin support for meetings under Behaviour, Attendance, and Grievance policies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Resilient, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach Previous HR experience or exposure to HR processes Enthusiasm for developing HR knowledge and progressing towards CIPD accreditation High attention to detail and confidentiality

Due to the nature of our business, you must be able to obtain SC level clearance.
