HR Assistant
to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting the employee journey from onboarding to exit, while also providing vital administrative support across the employee lifecycle. You'll work with modern HR systems and digital tools, including AI?powered platforms to streamline processes, deliver accurate data, and enhance the employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career who wants to build experience, develop skills, and grow with an expanding company.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver efficient, accurate, and confidential HR administration across the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, training, and offboarding).
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring our HR systems are accurate and compliant.
Support monthly payroll submissions in collaboration with Finance.
Administer employee benefits, pensions, and absence management.
Draft HR letters, contracts, and internal communications.
Coordinate recruitment logistics: posting roles, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates and managers.
Organise onboarding activities including inductions, contracts, IT access, and welcome packs.
Assist with training and development tracking, ensuring completion of mandatory programmes.
Provide note?taking and documentation support during HR and employee relations meetings.
Help deliver employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and internal communications.
Key Competencies
Strong communication and people skills.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Good problem-solving and initiative.
Reliable, proactive, and team-focused.
Good IT skills (MS Office; HR systems desirable).
Basic HR knowledge or CIPD Level 3 is an advantage.
