Are you looking to build a career in HR within a supportive and forward-thinking team? We're seeking a proactive and organised HR Assistant to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to support the HR team during a busy and exciting period of growth and change.

This part-time role (0.5 FTE) offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle. We're flexible on the exact hours and days you will work and we can agree this depending on your preferences. You'll have exposure to recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and HR operations as part of a small, collaborative HR team and will be supported in your professional growth.

What you will be doing:



Supporting recruitment processes, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications Coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a seamless experience Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems Assisting with monthly payroll changes and benefits administration Responding to employee queries and escalating where needed Supporting training logistics and maintaining learning and development records Helping to organise employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives

About you:



Previous experience in an HR support or administrative role (or similar office-based role) Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems Friendly, approachable, and discreet with sensitive information A genuine interest in developing a career in HR (CIPD Level 3 or working towards is a plus)
