Job Description

We're looking for a proactive and organised HR Assistant to join our busy HR Operations team. Acting as a key link between our current and future employees and the wider HR function, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and efficient employee experience. From answering day-to-day queries to supporting essential HR and recruitment processes, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their HR career in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

- 26,000 to 30,000 per annum depending on experience

- Carr Lane, Hull, with hybrid working opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, delivering a helpful and professional service Maintain and update HR systems to ensure employee data is accurate and up to date Complete general HR administration tasks with accuracy and efficiency Produce and coordinate employee lifecycle documentation (e.g. contracts, letters) in line with current policies Resolve queries in a timely and effective manner, escalating when needed Support the HR team with people-related activities, including employee relations cases Assist the Recruitment team with pre-boarding activities to ensure a smooth start for new employees Provide additional support for payroll administration where needed

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:



Previous experience in an HR role essential Administrative experience is essential A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Confidence using HR systems and databases Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team-player mindset and a commitment to delivering great service Previous payroll administration experience would be a bonus
