We are looking for an HR Assistant to support the HR manager with employee relations, recruitment, updating the HR database & general administrative duties
Our HR Assistant position requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
This role is ideal for a HR administrator or Assistant looking to gain further HR experience in a fast-paced work environment within the retail industry. the role will be office based with regular visits to store locations within London.
Duties/responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
Assist & manage employee relations cases as they arise
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Update HR systems (e.g. employee information, new hires, leavers, annual leave & sick days)
Assist with preparation for monthly payroll
Prepare paperwork for HR policies and procedures
Process employees' requests and provide relevant information
Coordinate HR projects & meetings
Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications
Prepare offer documents, assist with onboarding & leavers
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a HR assistant/administrator (1-2 years)
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, & best practices
Hand on experience & understanding of with HR software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Mandarin speaking (Desirable)
BS degree in Human Resources or CIPD qualified (Desirable)
You must have eligibility to work in the UK (No Visa sponsorship offered for this role)
