Working within the Business Partnering Team, you will take responsibility for all HR administration and recruitment activities for your own allocated areas of the University, whilst also supporting colleagues as necessary.


You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely provision of HR services to your allotted areas. This includes administrative support relating to the effective end-to-end recruitment process as well as processing HR documentation such as contract variations, parental leave requests, and assisting with note taking at HR meetings.


You will provide best practice advice and solutions to managers, colleagues and applicants and ensure a super supportive, efficient and positive customer experience.

About you




You will have previous administrative experience, including excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities. Good IT skills, including competence in, and experience of using, standard Microsoft software packages (Outlook, Word, Excel).


Experience of working in an HR department, knowledge of UKVI legislation and experience of using databases would be advantageous but not essential as full training is available.

Essential;


5 GCSEs (to include English and Maths) at grade C or above, or equivalent
Desirable;


CIPD level 3

Human Resources are responsible for the development of the University's HR policies, strategies and procedures covering all aspects of people management, recruitment and selection, pay and conditions, management development and employment relations. The department is made up of the following teams: Corporate, Business Partnering, Payroll and Staff Development.
