Do you have good admin and organisational skills and an interest in HR systems implementation?
We're looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our People Systems Implementation project team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of a new People system (HR Information System, Learning Management System and Applicant Tracking System) as part of our transformation programme to improve how we deliver People services.
In this role you will:
Assist with data gathering, collation and cross-checking for data migration to new HR systems.
Support system setup activities such as workflows, processes and notifications.
Help coordinate testing and user acceptance processes to ensure successful implementation.
Work closely with the Systems Implementation Manager and subject matter experts across HR, L&D and Resourcing teams.
As this is a time-bound project, we're looking for someone who can start a 6 month fixed term contract in January 2026. Unfortunately, we're unable to accommodate a start date later than mid-February 2026, as this would not align with the project timelines.
In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo's London or regional locations.
About you
You'll bring strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, with experience of using administrative systems and procedures. You'll be confident working with data, managing competing priorities and communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders. Experience of coordinating projects and using software applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
Above all, we're looking for someone with a positive 'can do' attitude, flexibility and a genuine desire to support a charity that helps transform lives.
St Mungo's are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We strongly encourage applications from all under-represented groups.

While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 and are currently exploring alternative office locations on the eastern edge of the City of London.
At St Mungo's our vision is that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. As a homelessness charity and housing association, our clients are at the heart of what we do, and in 2019 - 2020 we supported 32,800 people across all of our services. Our staff are crucial to making this happen.
