We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, in both office and factory settings. This includes assisting with recruitment, employee relations, record-keeping, compliance, and daily HR administration, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
Duties
General HR Administration
Maintain and update employee records, both digital and physical.
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes.
Support the administration of HR policies and procedures.
Prepare HR documents such as contracts, letters, and reports.
Maintain holiday, absence, and timekeeping records.
Recruitment & Selection
Post job adverts.
Assist with shortlisting CVs and liaising with candidates and hiring managers.
Factory-Focused Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for factory workers for basic HR queries.
Support supervisors and team leaders with timekeeping, attendance, and disciplinary documentation.
Conduct walkarounds and support with health & safety and training records.
Maintain and issue PPE (if required), training logs, and licenses.
Compliance & Record-Keeping
Ensure personnel files and data comply with GDPR and company standards.
Help track and schedule mandatory training and certifications.
Assist with audits and inspections (internal and external).
Employee Engagement & Support
Help address day-to-day staff concerns in collaboration with HR and management.
Provide support during disciplinary, grievance, and performance meetings (note-taking, scheduling, etc.).
Requirements
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within human resources.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills related to human resources functions.
Happy to support other areas of the business as well (i.e. finance and Health & Safety)

Pay: 25,000.00-40,000.00 per year
