Two exciting opportunities have become available for HR Assistants to join our busy HR Directorate, providing support to our business partnering teams and assisting with the implementation of a new HR/Payroll system. This is an exciting time for our Directorate with the implementation and testing of our new system underway, as well as a host of other activities such as policy development, the launch of a new People Strategy and People Hub, project work and HR business partnering.
As a member of the HR Administrative Services team within the HR Department, you will provide efficient organisational and secretarial support for team activities and will also be a pro-active member of the Office of Chief People Officer. You will give general advice to customers and will provide processing support for recruitment and contract administration, delivering to tight deadlines.
With educational qualifications to higher or equivalent level, you will have a track record of delivering high quality and high volume administrative support, including strong attention to detail. You will be an excellent communicator with a customer focused approach and a competent user of Microsoft Office packages. Ideally, you will hold a relevant HNC or equivalent and have experience of working in an HR and/or HE environment.
The position is offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days per week on campus and 2 days per week from home. Full-time attendance on campus may be required until completion of the training period.
