Hybrid. Working from home / Glasgow office / Client sites as required

As our client base continues to grow, we are reviewing our team structure and are keen to appoint an HR Administrator or HR Assistant (dependent on experience) whose skills and knowledge align with our evolving needs. If you love variety, enjoy building relationships, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, you'll fit right in. While HR experience is helpful, attitude matters most. We're looking for someone proactive, positive, has an eye for detail and is ready to roll up their sleeves. You'll be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing client needs, and communicating effectively in a hybrid setting. Flexibility to travel to client sites or our Glasgow office is essential.

Purpose of role:



Depending on experience, you will work collaboratively with the wider team to provide high-quality administrative and HR support across our portfolio of clients. This role has a strong focus on recruitment activity, so you will be confident in supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, including, mailbox management, and coordinating and supporting interviews. You will act as a first point of contact for clients supporting in delivering an efficient, timely and accurate service.

Main responsibilities:



Providing general HR, recruitment and business administrative support both internally and for our portfolio of clients Maintaining relevant databases and data entry Ensuring effective and timely response to emails or phone calls, acting where appropriate as the first point of contact for queries Supporting the organisation with client meetings and taking minutes when necessary Supporting recruitment activities, such as posting job adverts, managing job applications and communications, response handling, holding screening interviews, arranging interviews and conducting inductions for new starters Coordinating and assisting with training and development Answering telephone calls, supporting where relevant and directing clients to the appropriate person Supporting with HR related correspondence such as updating policies, procedures, employment contracts, onboarding materials etc., supporting to ensure all client HR processes are compliant with current employment legislation Assisting with the Company's marketing strategy including writing blogs and posts for social media, email marketing campaigns and setting up online webinars Any other duties as may be determined from time to time which may be reasonably required.

Skills and experience:

Previous experience in a Business Assistant / HR administrative role Excellent IT skills and experience of using a range of Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience working with HR Systems Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to changing priorities and deadlines Ability to organise, plan and prioritise own work and meet deadlines whilst remaining responsive to others Ability to maintain information and filing systems Ability to enter, collate, compile and distribute information consistently and effectively Good organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team A professional manner Enthusiastic, positive, can-do attitude.
