As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an HR Assistant/Administrator who shares our values and wants to grow with us.
Our office is based in Walton on Thames and this role is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Our office hours are 8.30am to 5pmso there is flexiblity to work within these hours but we would prefer 4/5 hours per day, every day. Salary will be pro rata'd accordingly
Initially, flexibility will be tailored to your training and you will need to be in the office more to start with. This will allow you to learn the role as well as train with and get to know the team.*
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic role for someone who is
CIPD Level 5 qualified or currently studying
, and eager to develop their HR career in a supportive, people?centric environment. You'll be the day?to?day HR heartbeat of the business, working closely with leadership while being supported by our
outsourced retained HR specialists
for more complex or technical matters.
You'll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle and have the chance to shape HR processes as the business evolves.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
Maintain accurate employee records, HR platform data, and documentation.
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR correspondence.
Support payroll colleagues with timely and accurate HR?related information.
Employee Experience & Engagement
Assist in coordinating employee benefits, wellbeing initiatives, and engagement activities, aligned with our people?first values.
Support the delivery of internal communications and culture?building initiatives.
Recruitment Support
Coordinate recruitment administration including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
Support hiring managers with structured and consistent recruitment processes.
Policy & Compliance
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and internal data?handling standards.
Learning & Development
Track training needs and support the coordination of development activities.
Help embed a culture of continuous learning as the business grows.
Track and measure KPIs and support team leaders in setting and analysing their teams.
General Support
Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, escalating to our retained HR partner when needed.
Provide administrative support to leadership across HR?related projects.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
CIPD Level 5 qualified or actively studying
(or equivalent experience).
Passionate about HR and eager to grow your skills as the business expands.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
A confident communicator who builds trust and rapport easily.
Comfortable working independently but also collaboratively with the team.
Discreet, professional, and committed to confidentiality.
Someone who enjoys improving processes and contributing to a positive workplace culture by embracing and embedding our core values.
Experience of using an HR platform (Employment Hero experience would be an added bonus but not essential)
