About the role
Exciting expansion across Westfield Group has led to a new position for a HR Assistant within our UK Team. As a HR Assistant you will work within HR shared services to support our local and international teams. As the first point of contact for queries you'll be juggling the HR inbox, supporting in meetings and providing a full range of administrative tasks. While this is for an initial 6-month fixed term contract there is possibility for extension.
About the role
Daily monitoring of the HR inbox, providing responses or escalating queries to the right person.
Support onboarding of new staff by updating and sending offers, contracts and pre-employment paperwork as well as facilitating induction bookings.
Produce documentation for disciplinary and grievance issues and attend hearings and investigations.
Support in absence meetings and recording of absences on appropriate HR software.
Write and distribute change of terms for current employees.
Use your knowledge to review and recommend improvements to procedures and systems.
Support payroll when needed.
About you:
Established experience within a HR team as an assistant or admin.
Proven Customer Service and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload.
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, displayed through accurate note taking and document generation.
Excellent communication, listening skills and interpersonal skills.
Confident in the use of HRIS systems.
Strong IT skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Ability to work effectively at an individual level whilst contributing to the performance of a team.
