We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisational culture and ensuring that our HR practices align with the company's strategic goals. Responsibilities
Oversee the recruitment onboarding process from start to finish, including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, processing DBS checks, references and conducting staff inductions.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and update the employee handbook and policies accordingly.
Manage staff holiday entitlement, payroll updates, and employee records.
Conduct formal meetings such as maternity, leavers, grievance, and disciplinary meetings.
Support the management team with various HR tasks and supervise the Office Administrator.
Monitor and update spreadsheets to ensure compliance with regulations.
Organise and support work experience students, volunteers and new starters.
Attend management, leadership, and team meetings.
Participate in external events to promote the company.
Manage the enquiries inbox, handle incoming/outgoing mail, determine urgency, and communicate with colleagues as necessary.
Follow up on issues raised during meetings or supervisions.
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, both face-to-face and over the phone.
Provide general administrative support, including printing, filing, and scanning documents.
Ensure office stationery, PPE, and other relevant stock are regularly replenished in a timely manner, and delegate duties to the Office Administrator.
Manage petty cash and process card payments.
Keep the office area tidy, adhering to Health and Safety policies.
Organise and book meetings using the shared calendar.
