Job Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy People function of 22 people supporting a network of over 170 locations and in excess of 1600 employees. Working closely with the Head of People and Chief People Officer you will have a specific remit to business partner with our senior leadership team to develop a people plan for our Head Office team whilst also supporting our overall people priorities and best practice across The Entertainer Group (TEG)

The role will be varied and diverse with responsibility for key people processes including contracts of employment, terms and conditions, legislative compliance, and specific HR & people projects. The HRBP will also be the \xe2\x80\x98go to\xe2\x80\x99 person for the leadership team in developing their organisational structures and job roles, alongside supporting change and employee relations issues.

You will be an experienced and knowledgeable HR professional with great communication skills and adept at relationship building. You will need to be energetic, pacey and embrace change with a diplomatic and decisive can-do attitude. You will also need to embrace or core behaviours - take ownership, keep it simple, bring pace and energy, always improve and win together.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Develop an operational people plan for our Head office teams that drives organisational effectiveness.

\xc2\xb7 Implementation of change management processes including TUPE, redundancy, & outsourcing projects.

\xc2\xb7 Design and implement HR processes and practices including policy development and tech solutions.

\xc2\xb7 Developing our Head Office organisational structures, job roles and job evaluations.

\xc2\xb7 Lead the Diversity and Inclusion agenda across the business and co-chair our DEI Forum whilst protecting and nurturing our core people values.

\xc2\xb7 Responsibility for group employee contracts and written terms and conditions including Company handbooks and contract harmonisation projects.

\xc2\xb7 Work in partnership with the HR Operations Manager on Head Office employee relations case management and intervention including absence, capability and disciplinary and grievance issues.

\xc2\xb7 Management and delivery of strategic HR projects and initiatives to support our plans.

\xc2\xb7 Responsibility for completion and monitoring of IR35 CEST checks.

\xc2\xb7 Delivery of HR education via blended learning including training workshops & online content.

\xc2\xb7 Line management of our reception team to deliver great service within the Head Office environment.

Skills & Experience

1. Proven experience in a hands-on HR partnering role within an SME or larger organisation ideally within a group structure.

2. CIPD qualified at Level 5 or above or equivalent.

3. Must have a good knowledge of current UK employment legislation.

4. Practical experience of TUPE and organisational change management

5. Experience within retail or working with a dispersed workforce an advantage.

6. A good understanding of MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel

7. Logical and analytical with a natural ability to persuade and influence senior leaders.

8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

9. Ability to self-manage projects though to conclusion \xe2\x80\x93 project management skills.

10. Knowledge of Zellis Resourclink HRIS an advantage
