What You'll Be Doing




In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting senior leaders in achieving their business plan, operating at the forefront of organisational, culture and structure change. Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering and working collaboratively with other HR Business Partners, this role plays a critical part in delivering the Group People Plan, taking accountability for ensuring elements are delivered and embedded into your business areas.


Key Responsibilities include:

Leading organisational change initiatives through effective business partnering, ensuring leaders and employees are supported throughout Building credible relationships with key stakeholders across your business areas and the wider Group, to provide strategic and collaborative HR leadership Development and delivery of a business-level People Plan that aligns and supports the aims of the Group People Plan Act as a key contributor within the HR team, leading and contributing expertise to key projects and providing direction on strategy and operational plans Fostering a high-performance culture by working with senior leaders to define and implement strategies that strengthen the organisation's overall capability, building a pipeline of future leaders through robust succession planning and leadership development initiatives Oversee all employee relations activities in your business area to manage risk and compliance Support leaders to take ownership of engagement, networks, ESG, and wellbeing in their areas ensuring delivery and accountability through effective partnering Analysing and interpreting trends in management information to design appropriate interventions and initiatives. Collaborate with Finance, IT and other cross-functional Group Services teams to ensure alignment and integration of HR initiatives with broader business objectives

What You'll Need



Demonstratable experience as an HR Business Partner with excellent technical HR knowledge, a highly commercial outlook Expert at building senior-level relationships and liaising with stakeholders across multiple businesses Passion and experience of driving large scale change Ability to translate strategic content into realistic operational initiatives. Demonstrated history of coaching and influencing senior managers in order to drive high performance. Strong employee relations experience with experience of overseeing complex cases. Experience in embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) principles within business strategies and culture Highly organised, resourceful, and efficient Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of self-governance with the ability to make practical, timely decisions Confident, professional, and approachable with a proactive and flexible attitude Commutable to Walsall and Nottingham with a willingness to travel as to other sites as required
