Job Description

As a People & Culture Business Partner, you will support the delivery of our People & Culture strategy and provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees. Reporting into the Head of People, you'll act as a trusted partner across the business, helping us to create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

What you'll do



Partner with managers to deliver people initiatives that support business objectives. Use people data to spot trends and provide insights to managers. Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including performance, absence, and conflict resolution. Support organisational changes, restructures, and succession planning. Manage absence, leave, and HR records in HiBob, ensuring accuracy. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Support contractor and freelancer onboarding in line with IR35 requirements. Help deliver the performance management cycle and support managers with feedback and reviews. Support annual pay and bonus review processes. Liaise with payroll bureaus to ensure accurate and timely payroll for UK employees. Administer employee benefits, such as pensions and health cover. Contribute to projects that support culture, engagement, and employee experience. Maintain HR policies and handbooks, ensuring compliance. Support with employee communications and company events. Help coordinate compliance training and L&D activities.

Quality and timeliness of advice and support to managers. Smooth delivery of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and benefits. Accuracy of records and compliance with policies. Contribution to a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Successful delivery of key projects and initiatives.

What you'll need



Essential



Experience in a People Partner / HR Advisory role in a fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law. Confidence to advise and coach managers on people issues. Experience managing employee relations cases. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good project coordination and change support skills. Payroll and benefits administration experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems (e.g. HiBob) desirable. High standards of confidentiality and integrity.

Desirable



CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience). Experience working with international teams. Familiarity with IR35 and contractor processes. Experience with compensation reviews or job evaluation. Experience delivering L&D or compliance training.
