Job Description

On behalf of The Government Property Agency, we are looking for a HR Caseworker for a 3 month contract working Part time (3 days per week) based REMOTELY occasional travel for team meetings as required to Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff, Bristol , Swindon or Norwich



The Government Property Agency is an Executive Agency of the cabinet office. It is changing the way the Civil Service works and is at the forefront of Government's transformation agenda; reshaping the relationship civil servants have with their place of work. The Agency is central to the delivery of key Government policies including moving 22,000 Civil Service roles out of London by 2030 and tackling climate change by contributing to the Net Zero agenda. To do this we are delivering a major change programme across the UK and consolidating our portfolio in order to save 1.4 Bn over 10 years.

As a HR Caseworker, your main responsibilities will be:



Providing compliant HR advice and guidance to Managers on a range of routine casework matters - both one off advice and guidance queries and managing a number of ongoing cases (written and verbal advice). Ensuring Case Management system is kept updated - opening and closing of cases, recording notes, filing emails Drafting and/or checking letters to support line managers (in line with template letters / policy) Supporting as a note taker for HR confidential meetings Ad hoc tasks may also include setting up of confidential meetings (diary management), responding to SAR requests, ensuring casework invoices processed, sourcing decision makers for cases.

Essential:



HR case work experience (mainly ER) Policy Interpretation Stakeholder engagement Providing Advice and Guidance Good administration and documenting skills

Desirable:



CIPD SAR reporting
