Rotherham Council is seeking proactive and knowledgeable HR Consultants - Strategic Programmes to support the delivery of key HR projects that drive organisational improvement and transformation.



You'll provide expert advice on HR policies and employment law, manage programme activity, and collaborate with stakeholders, managers, and trade unions to ensure compliance and best practice. Your analytical skills will be key in interpreting data and producing actionable insights, while your creativity will help shape learning and development initiatives aligned to strategic goals.



We're looking for people with experience in operational HR, policy interpretation, and service development. If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the role for you.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
