Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job adverts, interviews, offer letters, and onboarding.
Ensure staff files are fully compliant with CQC requirements, including DBS, Right to Work, references, and training.
Maintain accurate HR records and update employee files digitally and physically.
Monitor and coordinate mandatory training, keeping the training matrix up to date.
Track and manage DBS expiry dates and support renewal processes.
Assist managers with employee relations issues such as absences, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
Conduct regular internal audits of HR documentation to ensure compliance and readiness for inspections.
Support employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture and enhance staff motivation and retention.
Ensure all HR and compliance records adhere to GDPR and confidentiality requirements.
Support the induction process for new staff, ensuring all checks and training are completed before start dates.
Prepare reports for management on HR metrics such as compliance, spot check, supervision and training matrix.
Keep HR and compliance policies updated in line with changes to employment law and care regulations.
Liaise with external agencies and training providers where necessary to support HR and compliance needs.
