The Role

: As a trusted HR Generalist this role represents the first line of HR support and will offer the opportunity within the business to build upon our value-driven culture to enhance our employee experience. Offering efficient and effective HR support and advisory, your focus will be the employee lifecycle, employee wellbeing, and engagement, along with responding to and managing employee expectations. You will also be primarily responsible for preparation of the monthly payroll. The role of HR Advisor will support the wider business for day-to-day aspects including employee reward, employee relations transactional matters and value-added projects.

This role will require strong personnel, emotional awareness and coordinator skills coupled with a broad knowledge of our HR system and procedures. You will be responsible for generating regular HR and Payroll reports, along with maintaining HR trackers and databases.

Key Functional Responsibilities:



HR Support:

Provide the first line of HR support within the business, owning the shared HR Team inbox and responding to enquiries, or assigning them to others, to ensure timely and consistent application of HR delivery in accordance with policies and procedures, as well as our company culture.

On/Offboarding:

Coordinate the on/offboarding processes, including conducting HR inductions and exit interviews, in order that these functions serve to both enhance employee experience and provide useful insights for the business.

Employee Experience:

Creating and implementing employee surveys to address employee experience. Arranging and supporting the events calendar to provide employees with internal and external events. Both corporate and companywide team building. Launching yearly Check-ins /appraisals to seek 360 feedback on employee experience.

Recruitment:

Recruitment - Appreciating the and understanding the resourcing requirements across the business, screening candidates, completing first stage culture and expectation screening calls. Administration of recruitment tests as required. Sharing feedback and findings with necessary parties such as HR Manager / LM with a view to continuing the recruitment process

Data and systems:

Ensuring monthly HR payroll processing and pensions responsibilities and the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date People data and systems, including our HRIS and HR folders. This includes accurate and timely logging of data that impacts monthly payroll changes.

Person Profile & Behavioral essentials:



A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar HR role with hands-on knowledge of HR best practice. Ability to quickly establish credibility and effective working relationships with various stakeholders at all levels across the organization. CIPD qualification Level 3 or 5 Experience using ADP Payroll and or Moorepay HRIS Platform. Strong Excel, V-Lookup Word, MS Forms and Power point skills Strong data analytical skills. Strong time management, planning and organising skills. Ability to appreciate sensitive information with integrity and discretion. Adaptive learner and adaptive thinker, who can apply prescribed guidelines or procedures to resolve problems. Able to work both independently & as part of a wider HR team with only a moderate level of guidance. Flexible and able to manage, and prioritize, multiple tasks running simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong 'active listening' and the ability to communicate and build trust with employees and people of all skill levels and abilities. High emotional intelligence and sound professional judgement
