Hours:
8:30 am - 5:00 pm, 4 set days per week (with 1-hour unpaid lunch)
We're looking for a confident and hands-on HR professional to lead our small but growing HR function at Site-Equip. This is a standalone role with support from a developing HR Apprentice - perfect for an experienced HR generalist ready for their first HR management role.
You'll be the go-to person for recruitment, employee relations, and policy development, while also playing a key role in exciting projects like acquisitions, TUPE transfers, and embedding our new HR system (Employment Hero).
This role is
fully office-based
in Lasham (GU34) with no hybrid working.
What you'll be doing
Leading recruitment campaigns and onboarding new starters.
Advising managers on employee relations matters and HR best practices
Reviewing and developing HR policies and ensuring compliance.
Managing and embedding our new HR system (Employment Hero).
Supporting payroll accuracy alongside finance.
Driving people initiatives that support business growth and culture.
Developing and mentoring our HR Apprentice.
On-Call Support on a management rota.
What we're looking for
CIPD Level 5 (or working towards - support available).
Proven HR generalist experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
A confident advisor who can influence managers and directors.
Organised, proactive and commercially aware.
Bonus points if you have:
TUPE experience, HR system implementation (especially Employment Hero), or a background in construction, logistics, hire, or events.
