We are recruiting a HR Manager to join our client in Antrim

  • \xc2\xa324.13 per hour
  • Monday to Friday 9am \xe2\x80\x93 5pm
  • Antrim Civic Centre
Job duties

Setting the strategic direction of the HR function with the Head of Human Resources
to enable an engaged, highly skilled and high performing workforce who can deliver the council\'s key strategic priorities and outcomes.
Leading and overseeing the development of HR partnering arrangements across all
Directorates to build strong customer relationships with senior leaders/ managers and stakeholders.
Leading, Managing and facilitating an extensive and varied range of workforce projects across the organisation.
Supporting the Head of Human Resources in the provision of a professional Human Resources service to the Chief Executive and Corporate Leadership and Head of Service teams ensuring that strategies, policies, procedures and documentation are initiated, developed and maintained,

Provide advice and support to Deputy Directors, Heads of Service and line managers
to ensure the consistent implementation of human resources terms and conditions,
policies and procedures.

Deputise when required for the Head of Human Resources in matters relating to
Generalist Human Resources.

Essential Criteria:

Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, business or other relevant subject AND
Chartered membership of the CIPD. Consideration may be given to
those candidates who do not hold the above academic qualification and Chartered Membership of CIPD but who can demonstrate at least *5 year\'s relevant experience as noted below and Associate membership will be considered subject to the willingness to achieving Chartered
membership of the CIPD within 1 year of taking up the post.

3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as follows;
in Human Resources to include management of a team to deliver professional
HR advice and support in the areas of:
\xef\x82\xb7 Employee Relations
\xef\x82\xb7 Policy Development
\xef\x82\xb7 Managing Attendance
\xef\x82\xb7 Recruitment and Selection
\xef\x82\xb7 Terms and Conditions
