Connect Care is a leading provider of childcare services dedicated to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children. We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate HR Expert to join our team on a part-time basis to ensure we attract, retain, and nurture the best talent in the childcare sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that the organisation's HR strategies align with its overall business goals. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in HR technology systems such as Workday and Taleo.
Duties
Manage the recruitment process using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Taleo, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience.
Supervise HR staff and coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance team performance.
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, presenting HR policies and procedures clearly.
Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
Maintain and manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee records.
Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and performance management.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation.
Requirements
Proven experience in a Human Resources management role with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
Proficiency in HR software such as Workday and Taleo, along with experience in managing ATS systems.
Excellent data analysis skills to interpret HR metrics and drive improvements.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly.
A solid understanding of employment law and regulations within the UK context.
Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field would be advantageous.
