Conexus Recovery is a rapidly growing Debt Recovery & Field Services business, also supporting our sister company, Complete Metering Services Ltd. Operating across the UK and Ireland, our fast-paced environment requires strong HR leadership to support continued growth and workforce management.
We're seeking an experienced HR Manager to take ownership of our HR operations. This role involves overseeing recruitment, compliance, employee relations, policy development, and supporting business leaders to create a positive and legally compliant working environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes: drafting job postings, coordinating interviews, making offers, and managing pre-employment checks (Experian, DBS, references, right-to-work).
Collaborate with Regional Managers on start dates, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Ensure employee training records are up to date and all mandatory training is completed.
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, contracts, and employee files in line with legal requirements.
Oversee day-to-day HR administration, including taking minutes, managing supplies, and supporting HR operations.
Develop and implement HR policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with employment law.
Contribute to the ongoing development of our HR and recruitment processes in support of our business goals.
Requirements
Essential:
Minimum 5 years' experience in an HR generalist or managerial role
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
Proven experience in handling complex employee relations cases
Experience managing recruitment and onboarding processes across multiple sites
High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with HR systems
Ability to build strong relationships across the organisation and operate with confidentiality and professionalism
Desirable:
CIPD Level 5 or above (or working towards)
Experience in field services, logistics, utilities, or similar sectors
Understanding of compliance checks such as DBS and right to work verification
Experience supporting multiple business units or regions
What We Offer
