Key Responsibilities:



Maintain accurate and compliant employee records on the HR system. Act as the first point of contact for managers, providing professional HR advice and guidance. Lead and support employee relations processes including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues. Track and report on sickness, holiday, and absence trends. Coordinate and support probation review meetings, ensuring timely follow-up. Oversee compliance with employment legislation and internal HR policies. Manage payroll preparation and liaise with the payroll team for accurate processing. Support recruitment, onboarding, contract changes, and offboarding to ensure a smooth employee lifecycle. Work closely with leadership to deliver people initiatives that support business goals. Lead or contribute to HR projects such as developing policies, improving systems, and enhancing culture. Use HR data and reporting to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend improvements.

What we're looking for:



Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar role. Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Confident handling complex employee relations cases. Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the business. High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism. CIPD Level 3 (essential) and working towards Level 5. Salary progression in line with CIPD qualifications.
