Job description - key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from advertising through to onboarding and induction, identifying opportunities to enhance the candidate experience where necessary. Research, evaluate and develop new recruitment channels to strengthen candidate attraction and increase the quality and volume of applications. Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party recruitment partners, i.e. local colleges, job centre etc. Partner with senior leaders to strengthen our online presence and social media activity, contributing to the development and promotion of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
Provide professional advice and support to managers on all HR matters, including absence, performance management, conduct, grievances and capability.

Support and actively guide managers through HR processes, ensuring consistency and compliance with UK employment legislation.

Where required conduct and co-manage investigations, disciplinary and or appeal Meetings.

Managing preparations and or the chairing of grievance hearings.

Regularly reviewing and creating policies in accordance with company requirements and appropriate legislation.

Work with Senior Leaders and Managers alike in addressing operational staffing challenges through effective workforce planning.

Tracking and providing monthly data to Senior Leaders and Managers in relation to recruitment, absence, employee performance, conduct, training and turnover.

Use HR data and insights to inform decision-making, track trends and support continuous improvement across Blossom Care Group.

Maintain and ensure accurate HR records in relation to contracts, addendum to contracts, right to work documentation, annual leave and absence records across the Group.

Paying regular visits to our care homes in order to conduct staff files audits, reporting findings to the Senior Team.

Look to improve and roll out the usage of our HRIS system, BrightHR to creative further efficiencies in the tracking and management of areas such as annual leave and sickness absence.

Actively assist with monthly payroll using Money soft Payroll to produce wage slips, ABS tracker, holiday tracker.

Tracking and managing online training for all staff.

Providing ongoing management training, working in tandem with Senior Management to cascade relevant HR policies, processes and procedures.

Designing and delivering management training sessions as to enhance and continuously develop Line Management capability.

Leading on initiatives to promote employee engagement, including our annual employee engagement survey.

Leading on building initiatives to further drive our culture of wellbeing, diversity and inclusion across the group.

What we are looking for:



An experienced HR professional with experience of operating and navigating HR activity, preferably within a scaling SME.

HR related qualification (CIPD level 5) or significant experience managing a HR function.

Experience of working in a regulated environment, such as child residential care, adult care, health care (preferred).

Experience of guiding and working in line with safer recruitment processes and procedures (preferred).

Excellent working knowledge and application of UK Employment Law.

Strong generalist HR background, covering the breadth of the employee lifecycle.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to foster trust whilst being able to respectfully challenge.

A strong people manager, with the ability to support, coach and mentor our HR Support Officer.

Experience of implementing and imbedding HR systems across an organisation.

Salary dependant on experience and relevant qualifications

Pay: 37,000.00-42,000.00 per year
