Human Resources Manager

to join our team in the domiciliary care sector. This vital role involves managing all aspects of HR to support a compassionate, compliant, and efficient home care service. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of HR practices within the healthcare and social care environment, and hands-on experience with systems like

Workday

,

Taleo

, and other Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Key Responsibilities



Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the needs of a domiciliary care organization and its regulatory requirements. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for care staff, support workers, and administrative roles, including onboarding and compliance checks. Supervise HR staff and ensure adherence to CQC standards, employment laws, and safeguarding protocols. Deliver training sessions on mandatory topics such as health & safety, safeguarding, and person-centered care. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure full compliance with right-to-work, DBS, and training documentation. Conduct regular audits of HR files and data to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Analyze HR data to identify trends in retention, performance, and satisfaction, and use insights to inform HR decisions. Work closely with care coordinators and registered managers to provide responsive and tailored HR support.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of staff. Experience using

, or similar ATS/HRIS platforms in a care or healthcare setting. Strong leadership and supervisory experience within a domiciliary or healthcare environment. Solid knowledge of employment law, CQC regulations, and HR best practices in the care sector. Experience maintaining and auditing HR documentation to meet compliance standards. Strong analytical skills to interpret HR data and improve recruitment, retention, and staff engagement.
