Gifted Hands Care is an established, regulated Domiciliary Care service that is expanding its services across areas in Wales. We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to join and lead our team in the provision of person-centred, high quality care to individuals in their own homes.
Gifted Hands Care is currently in the process of registration with the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) and anticipates that the role will commence when the registration is completed and the service is ready to commence. The services will be a start up and the Registered manager will work across two different sites to begin if needed and assist with the mobilisation of services.

The Registered Manager will be expected to provide high quality, regulated Domiciliary Care services that are person-centred, outcome based and which support the rights of each individual to live their lives as they choose and as independently as possible within their own homes and communities.
Main responsibilities
Ensure the safe delivery of the service in line with all legislative and regulatory requirements and company policies, procedures, systems and good practice guidelines.
Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided, implementing quality improvement initiatives, and conducting regular audits.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with people who use the service, their families, and other relevant stakeholders, such as local authority commissioners and healthcare professionals.
Manage the effective safe recruitment, induction, training and updating of the care team which includes coordinator (s), supervisor (s), care workers and other support staff.
IT Skills, withproficiency in using relevant software and systems for record-keeping, communication, and reporting.
Be able to effectively lead the care team in delivering high quality service.
Experience of managing budgets, contracts and packages of care.
Essential criteria
Current or recent experience of being a Registered Manager Domiciliary Care (or similar care environment) for 1 year.
All successful applications are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS ( if not already on update service) and pre-employment checks.
Registered as a Manager with Social Care Wales (SCW).
UK Driving Licence and own form of reliable transport.
QCF 4/5 in Health and Social Care.
