Hours:

Part-Time, 3 days per week (Tues, Wed and Thurs)

Easton, Bristol

Salary:

up to 47,500 per annum (FTE)



We're looking for a part-time HR Manager to manage and oversee our HR operations, processes and strategies for improved business performance and a culture of high performance. This is the perfect role for someone looking for their next fixed term opportunity to make an impact in a buzzing creative agency setting. You'll be the go-to trusted advisor to the Senior Management team and the Board on HR generalist matters, identifying and advising on people risks and initiatives.



Reporting directly to our Managing Director, this is a varied role where you'll be managing end-to-end employee life cycle processes - like onboarding/offboarding, recruitment and managing performance to, maintaining our HR system (we use BambooHR) and aligning our people initiatives to main a high-performance work culture.





You'll influence decisions using data, metrics and insights, manage our employee engagement software (we use Engagement Multiplier) to continually improve our employee experience. You'll have demonstrable experience in a generalist role and be comfortable within a fast-paced environment and at times, working independently. Given the nature of the role, we'd expect you to be confident with UK employment law and a natural problem solver who is practical, resilient with a self-starter attitude.

Key Responsibilities:




Manage the end-to-end employee life cycle processes such as recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance management cycle, annual leave, absence management etc. Maintain our HR systems and identify improvements that streamline our ways of working. We use BambooHR, Deel (for overseas employees) - it's a bonus if you're familiar, but not essential. Support our Financial Controller with activities such as payroll administration. Champion our high-performance culture through the management of our framework for evaluating performance and providing feedback. Be the trusted advisor for effective and commercial employee relation solutions through existing people policies and procedures. Administer the onboarding/offboarding and renewal process for our employee benefits. Coordinate our employee engagement surveys (we use Engagement Multiplier, recommend and support the implementation of initiatives to improve employee experience and engagement scores. Manage all company recruitment, including creating vacancies, organising interviews with candidates and providing feedback. Lead and contribute to projects outside your direct area of responsibility. Align employee policies, processes, participation, and communication with our CSR policies. Use HR data and key metrics to provide insights for decision making. Line Manager to our Front of House Manager.


What you'll need:




Demonstratable experience in HR generalist role within a creative or fast paced environment. Experienced at process improvement across the employment lifecycle. CIPD qualified (Level 5 as a minimum). Experience of supporting Line Managers. Confident working knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices. Solid commercial acumen. Demonstrable problem-solving skills - complex issues are broken down and options/approaches evaluated and presented thoughtfully.
