We are seeking a collaborative and highly skilled HR professional to join our team as HR Manager/HR Business Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to our International Corporate Functions clients, comprising of HR, Legal, Government Affairs, Finance and Communications. You will work closely with the business to align HR initiatives with business goals, implement effective talent acquisition strategies, drive employee engagement and development, and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
This role will report to the HR Director, International Corporate Functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expertise and generalist HR support, with the ability to act strategically and operationally across all HR functions including employee relations, talent acquisition, talent mobility, compensation, employee engagement, and organisational change.
Build and maintain effective relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to both business leaders and employees, fostering a strong partnership and positive employee experience.
Create an environment of positive employee relations by respecting confidentiality, establishing trust and credibility, being seen by employees as an approachable and fair subject matter expert, and balancing business needs with employee needs.
Ensure compliance to our Respect in the Workplace practice and policy and work with stakeholders to establish and champion a positive and respectful work environment.
Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and conflict resolution.
Partner closely with talent acquisition on all recruitment activities including interviewing, supporting the offer process, liaising with hiring managers and talent retention strategies.
Drive employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work environment.
Manage local talent management programs and the performance feedback process, providing advice and support whilst contributing to building a culture of continuous development and feedback.
Identify opportunities for future talent and supporting the business in planning development.
Actively support and guide on DEI and wellbeing initiatives and projects.
Manage the contingent worker process ensuring compliance with policy and advising managers against any business risk.
Lead on local and global HR projects where required.
Support the HR Coordinator to finalise the monthly payroll cycle.
Qualifications
Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Strong UK employment law knowledge and experience of managing a variety of ER cases
Ability to navigate a complex matrix structure where collaboration and communication are key
Confident partner and problem solver with the ability to respond quickly and calmly to situations
Ability to establish trust and credibility with leaders and employees
Demonstrated ability and passion to identify and drive HR processes and projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain a positive attitude through all situations, a 'can-do' mentality and ability to shift from acting hands on to strategic thinking
Resourceful with the ability to juggle multiple priorities with success and manage change
Superb attention to detail, organisational skills and time management to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
High degree of emotional intelligence and flexible to adapt easily
Ability to be discreet and professional when handling sensitive and highly confidential information
Proven working experience with Microsoft Office Suite
