The Weddingstory UK is a professional photography and videography company based on Commercial Road, Whitechapel, London, providing high-quality coverage for weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and a wide range of events across the UK. We are looking for an organised and proactive HR & Admin professional to support our growing team remotely.
This role involves managing HR processes, assisting with office operations, and communicating professionally with clients when required. The ideal candidate will be confident, well-spoken, and able to handle staff matters, scheduling, complaints, and payment-related follow-ups while maintaining the company's high standards of professionalism.
Key DutiesHuman Resources & Internal Operations
Managing clients, employees, and editors to assign them to all the upcoming jobs.
Managing photographers, videographers, and editors for delivering the jobs on time.
Managing recruitment for photographers, videographers, editors, assistants, and office staff, including preparing job descriptions and scheduling interviews.
Prepare and maintain employment contracts, freelance agreements, NDAs, and ensure compliance with UK employment regulations.
Oversee onboarding and induction of new staff, ensuring they understand company processes, workflow, and brand expectations.
Maintain staff schedules, availability, and holiday requests to support smooth allocation for weddings and events.
Handle payroll-related administration such as timesheets, expense claims, and freelancer invoices.
Support staff development through training coordination and performance monitoring.
Address internal issues professionally, assisting with performance reviews and basic disciplinary matters.
Ensure health & safety procedures are followed for studio operations and on-location event shoots.
Client Communication & Office Support
Communicate with clients professionally via phone, email, or in-person when required.
Assist with handling client complaints and resolving issues in a polite and efficient manner.
Support with preparing invoices, taking payments, and chasing overdue payments.
Maintain accurate client records and update booking schedules.
Assist with general office administration at the Commercial Road office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Company Support
Maintain a positive and friendly workplace culture in line with The Weddingstory UK's values.
Support management with any additional tasks required for business operations across the UK.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.26 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 6 per week
