HR Manager

Due to continued expansion, we require a HR Manager to join our close-knit dynamic team based at our Lowestoft distribution centre.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

Recruitment and onboarding:

Oversee the entire process from hiring to onboarding new employees.

Employee relations:

Manage employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Compensation and benefits:

Develop and manage pay structures, benefits, and payroll administration.

Performance management:

Implement appraisal systems and monitor employee performance.

Training and development:

Identify training needs and design and implement development programs to advance staff careers.

Compliance:

Ensure all HR practices comply with current employment laws and regulations.

HR systems:

Manage and improve HR systems, policies, and procedures.

Leadership and communication:

Ability to lead a team, build relationships, and communicate effectively with all staff levels.

Organizational skills:

Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Problem-solving:

Ability to handle complex issues like employee grievances and make sound decisions.

Technical proficiency:

Strong IT skills and the ability to manage HR information systems.

Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of employment law and professional HR standards.
