What You'll Be Doing:
Lead People Strategy
Develop and deliver HR strategies that strengthen engagement, performance and retention.
Partner with the leadership team to align people plans with business goals.
Oversee recruitment and onboarding, ensuring we attract and retain the right talent.
Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management and employment law.
Keep policies, contracts, and processes fully compliant and up to date.
Drive Training & Development
Lead and support the Training Supervisor to deliver a first-class induction and learning experience.
Champion continuous learning and professional growth, identifying skills gaps and development needs.
Build a strong learning culture that helps people succeed and progress.
Promote Well-being & Safety
Work closely with the H&S Manager to ensure a safe, compliant and positive work environment.
Lead employee engagement and well-being initiatives that build connection, trust and motivation.
Foster an open, inclusive culture where every employee feels valued and supported.
What You'll Need to Succeed :
Proven experience as an HR Manager or People Manager.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Experience managing or overseeing Health & Safety and Training teams.
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Resilient, professional and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements :
CIPD Level 5 (or above)
Full UK Driving Licence
Intermediate Microsoft Word & Excel skills
