This role combines hands-on operational support with HR leadership to ensure our security teams deliver high-quality service. The HR & Operations Manager will manage recruitment, compliance, and staff performance while routinely visiting sites and events to support and improve operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine workforce needs and support recruitment planning for sites and events
Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, job adverts, and interview processes
Conduct regular site visits to engage with staff, address concerns, and ensure compliance
Attend events to support frontline teams, coordinate staffing, and ensure staff are fully briefed and performing to required standards
Manage employee relations, performance reviews, welfare support, disciplinary and grievance cases
Monitor and evaluate staff performance and identify development needs
Arrange training programmes and support staff development
Maintain full compliance with ACS standards, SIA licensing, and Right to Work requirements
Develop and implement workplace policies and ensure positive culture
Review organisational structures to promote productivity and efficiency
Prepare HR and operational reports for management
Promote diversity, equality, safety, and high operational standards
Stay updated on UK employment law and advise management accordingly
