As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced

HR Manager

to take ownership of our people strategy while also supporting training coordination and key office operations.

The Role



This is a

hands-on HR Manager role

suited to someone who enjoys being involved at every level of the employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with senior leadership and line managers, supporting around 70 employees across manufacturing, office, and leadership functions.

Key Responsibilities



HR & People Management



Lead all aspects of HR operations across the business Manage recruitment and onboarding processes end-to-end Provide advice and support on employee relations, performance management, absence, and disciplinary matters Ensure compliance with UK employment law and HR best practice Maintain and develop HR policies, procedures, and contracts Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership

Training & Development



Coordinate training schedules across departments Work with managers to identify training needs and development opportunities Manage training records, certifications, and compliance requirements Support the delivery of internal training and induction programmes

Office & Business Support



Oversee general people-related administration and office processes Support wellbeing initiatives and employee engagement activities Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records Assist with ad-hoc office management and organisational tasks as required

About You



Essential



Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor Experience working in an SME or organisation of

50+ employees

Strong knowledge of UK employment law Experience managing or coordinating training programmes Comfortable wearing "multiple hats" in a growing business Confident communicator with strong organisational skills

Desirable



CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or similar environments Experience supporting operational or office management functions Experience in managing training schedules
