The role
Reporting to the Managing Director, this
standalone
role will be responsible for the full HR lifecycle across the business, supporting senior leadership whilst developing and delivering the company's People Plan:

As the business enters a new HR phase incorporating culture change, the rollout of a new performance management framework, the development of line manager capability and increasing use of HR systems to promote efficiency -- this is an exciting time to join. The HR Manager will provide both hands-on operational delivery and strategic input to senior leadership, improving HR system capability, performance management, management development initiatives, and HR analytics to support business growth.
About You
You will be an experienced HR Manager or HR Business Partner with a
strong generalist
background and a proven ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking. You must have experience of designing and delivering management development programmes, employee engagement initiatives (surveys) and HR system improvement, and be comfortable dealing with the Board. You must have a flexible can-do approach.
Essential Criteria
CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management (Level 5) and/or Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning & Development.
Proven experience in a standalone or senior generalist HR role.
Proven experience in the development of performance management programmes
Proven experience in the design and roll out of employee engagement surveys
Strong capability in HR analytics, AI and data-led decision making.
Intellectually curious, adaptable, and confident
Preferred Criteria
CIPD Advanced Diploma in People Management (Level 7).
Strong management development capability
Experience in a sales-driven or engineering/manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of SharePoint and PHR.
Ideally 10+ years' HR management experience.
