Beadlight is an LED Lighting Manufacturing Company. We design, engineer and manufacture lights for Aerospace, Maritime and the contract market.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive

Part-Time HR Manager

to take ownership of the HR function for our growing company, supporting a workforce of approximately

50 employees

.

This is a hands-on, standalone role combining operational HR delivery with trusted advisory support to managers and senior leadership. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with UK employment legislation while helping to develop positive employee relations, managing a growing workforce and effective people management practices.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with UK employment law and ACAS best practice Manage employee relations cases end to end, including disciplinaries, grievances, capability, performance management, and absence matters Oversee recruitment activities, including drafting job descriptions, supporting interviews, issuing offers, and managing onboarding and probation processes Draft, review, and maintain contracts of employment, HR policies, and employee documentation Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, GDPR, right-to-work requirements, and workplace policies Support performance review processes, learning and development initiatives, and employee engagement activities Liaise with Finance and external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely HR inputs, including statutory payments and pension obligations Promote wellbeing, equality, and inclusive working practices across the business

About You:



Proven experience in a UK-based HR generalist or standalone HR role, ideally within an SME environment Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations Confident managing sensitive and complex HR matters independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a practical and approachable style Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities effectively CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualification is desirable

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
