The Company is going through a period of significant change with ambitious plans for growth, therefore we are looking for a people-focused HR Officer/Advisors that will have a strong administrative and operational HR background. You will understand how HR and people management more widely can contribute to the overall success of the company.
You will provide administrative support throughout the whole employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit. Providing an excellent standard of customer service, you will respond in a timely manner with expert advice to HR queries from staff across the business, understanding and adopting HR policies and procedures.
You'll be at the heart of supporting managers across all our sites in Ipswich, Lowestoft, Haverhill and Great Barton, to reduce sickness absence, improve attendance, and foster and maintain a healthy, engaged workforce. You'll use your expertise to guide managers through complex absence cases, analyse data to spot trends, and help shape strategies that make a difference.

Qualifications
CIPD Level 5 qualification (essential)
3 years+ post qualification experience working in a HR Officer/Advisor role(essential)
Experience in a public sector/ educational training organisation (essential)
Experience of payroll administration (essential)
Previous experience of working in a stand-alone role without direct supervision(desirable)
Other requirements
Valid UK driving licence and good driving record is required.
Enhanced DBS check required.
FTE salary
30,000 - 35,000
- Proof of qualification required.
4 Days per week - 30hrs
