We are seeking an organised, proactive, and trustworthy
HR Officer
to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing day-to-day HR operations -- including recruitment, onboarding, and
screening and vetting of staff
.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking for flexibility, with the potential to transition into a
full-time role (Monday to Friday)
as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process -- from advertising roles and shortlisting to interview coordination and offers.
Conduct
comprehensive screening and vetting
of all staff, including Right to Work, SIA, reference, and DBS checks.
Prepare and issue employment contracts and maintain accurate personnel files.
Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes for new starters.
Support payroll administration and maintain employee data.
Handle employee queries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures.
Maintain compliance with
UK employment law
and internal company policies.
Support disciplinary, grievance, and absence management processes when required.
Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role (experience in the
security industry
is an advantage).
Strong understanding of
screening, vetting
, and compliance processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of confidentiality.
Ability to work independently across multiple priorities.
Schedule:
Part-time:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Expected to transition to
full-time (Monday-Friday)
in the near future.
