We are seeking a dedicated and proactive HR Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various human resource functions, ensuring efficient data management and communication across departments. This position requires a strong understanding of HR systems and the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Main Functions of the Position
To provide a comprehensive HR service across PharmaPac UK Limited and Vector Consumer Limited, supporting the delivery of compliant, fair, and effective people practices.
The HR Officer is involved in a range of activities required by the organisation. These cover areas such as working practices, recruitment, pay, conditions of employment, negotiation with external work-related agencies, and equality and diversity.
The HR Officer develops, advises on and implements policies relating to the effective use of personnel within the organisation. Their aim is to ensure that the organisation employs the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience.
Main Tasks of the Position
Supporting end to end recruitment and onboarding - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates
Managing Contracts of Employment, ensuring Right-to-work, keeping Employee Records up to date
Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with data protection legislation (GDPR) when handling employee information and records.
Monitor and control absence Management (including the onsite Time & Attendance System), ensuring Payroll Department have correct information to process monthly payments
Conducting and dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
Supporting HR compliance for SEDEX, EcoVadis and external audits by maintaining accurate employee records, training documentation and evidence of ethical and labour practices.
Updating the Staff Handbook when necessary
Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including benefits
Consulting with staff and their representatives on policies and procedures.
Interpreting and advising on employment law
Developing Training & Development Plan with Line Managers

Qualifications
CIPD Level 3 (as a minimum)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 33,000.00-38,000.00 per year
