About the Role



We are seeking a proactive and committed

HR Officer

to join our team and support the delivery of a high-quality human resources service across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with generalist HR experience who is looking to develop further within a dynamic and supportive environment.

In this role, you will work closely with senior managers and the HR Manager to provide employee relations support, contribute to HR policy development, assist with recruitment, and help ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities



Provide an employee relations service to business streams, helping maintain positive working relationships and effective communication between management and employees. Support senior managers with resource planning, helping to develop policies and procedures to ensure effective recruitment within agreed budgets. Assist managers in assessing employee development needs and support the monitoring and implementation of appropriate training programmes. Help senior managers maintain accurate and compliant HR records, ensuring adherence to equal opportunities and legal requirements. Assist in developing and implementing HR strategy and policy to support business objectives and ensure legal compliance. Contribute to research and development of HR policies to support the recruitment and retention of motivated, well-trained employees. Support the development, implementation and monitoring of HR procedures related to terms and conditions of employment. Assist with HR projects, including internal and external recruitment and selection. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations to ensure compliant HR practices. Undertake any other duties as directed by the Human Resource Manager.

Desirable Skills and Attributes



Generalist HR experience. CIPD Level 3 or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and a meticulous work ethic. Good organisational and time-management skills.
