We are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic HR Officer to join our Human Resource team to provide a comprehensive HR function to the whole business.
Reporting to one of the HR Managers, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders, providing comprehensive and professional HR administration support, timely advice, information, and fit for purpose solutions across the full employee lifecycle.

Person specification
Essential experience - (This will be used as the lead sift criteria, if a large number of applications are received)
Experience of working within a busy HR function and as part of a team, whilst also using own initiative, to provide a quality service
Experience of dealing with a high level of administration/coordination including recruitment, payroll and associated queries within changing / tight timeframes
Experience of working with systems such as HR Information Systems; Applicant Tracking Systems
Required qualifications
GCSE (grade A-C) level English and Maths, or equivalent
Essential skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with a high level of attention to detail
Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to manage own workload

If you are transferring from another government department at the same grade, your current salary will generally be matched within reasonable parameters and subject to NS&I pay ranges. If you are transferring on promotion, you will be offered the starting salary at the bottom of the pay scale. If you are transferring on promotion and your existing salary is within the advertised range, you will be offered a maximum of a 10% uplift on your existing salary (up to the advertised maximum).
For External Candidates:
If you are not currently employed within the civil service, you will be offered the starting salary at the bottom of the advertised pay range.
