About the Role




MJM Marine is a progressive, flexible and rapidly growing specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

HR Officer with a focus on Data Analytics

to join our dynamic HR team. This is a hybrid role combining traditional HR functions with a strong focus on data analytics to support strategic decision-making. Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR services while turning workforce data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.

Key duties include:




HR Operations:

Provide comprehensive support in core HR activities including, but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, performance management and policy implementation. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Support employee engagement initiatives. Manage and coordinate employee work sponsorship and visa processes Implementation of planned strategy in specific areas of the HR Function


Data Analytics & Reporting:

Collect, analyse, and interpret HR data Assist with the design and maintain dashboards and reports for senior leadership and HR stakeholders. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement using workforce analytics. Collaborate with the HR Department, to inform strategic workforce planning and organisational development. Conduct HRIS audits, along with analysing data and preparing reports on all HR inputs.

The Ideal Person will have:



At least 3 years HR experience working in a similar role Demonstratable competency and experience in Data Analytics Strong Proficiency in Excel with experience with analytics tools Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong analytical mindset with the ability to present data clearly and compellingly. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels

It would be desirable but not essential if the person had a Business related Degree or CIPD qualified


The appointed candidate must have the right to work and live in the UK
