What is the role?




As

HR Operations Manager

you'll play a pivotal role in providing the necessary support and insights to all employees by supporting the Chief People Officer in delivering a proactive and customer focussed service. Key responsibilities will include:


Proactively lead the function, ensuring clear communication, timely knowledge sharing, and delivery of the operational business plan - promoting our core values and espousing a customer-centric approach. Efficiently manage workload, resource allocation, and effectively plan for peaks in volumes. Create and oversee SLAs to ensure accurate and high-quality services. Provide consistent reporting and detailed analyses that is presented in a clear and concise manner. Support the change process across the wider business. Provide coaching to the team, to encourage ownership of processes and to build confidence and resilience - setting structured development plans and accurately monitoring performance. Facilitate the design and maintenance of operating procedures including the upkeep of internal policies. Monitor and report on employee interactions with the HR team to ensure that all queries receive a response within expected timescales and complex issues are escalated promptly, with appropriate detail. Work with all third parties to remain compliant and up to date with new legislation. Manage the budget, resources and progress, and report on the key HR activity to stakeholders. This includes evaluating the outcomes of agreed initiatives on the balanced scorecard; identifying future improvements. Build relationships and liaise closely with suppliers and contractors as required - overseeing the payroll, recruitment, and reward systems. Establish, and drive to completion, key projects and workstreams that will uncover new employee insights and intelligence that can be used to aid critical business decision making.

What essential skills and experience are required:




Significant experience in a managerial role in and SME or charitable organisation. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent. Competence in:

+ Microsoft Office
+ EDI and Neurodiversity
+ Planning and scheduling capability
+ Knowledge and application of agile and change frameworks would be a distinct advantage
