Job Summary:
Join us to lead, direct and take responsibility for driving a high-performing team, ensuring effective delivery of recruitment and transactional HR services across our Lincoln and Sheffield sites, as well as our remote workforce. You will oversee day-to-day HR operations, maintain compliance with policy and regulation, and champion continuous improvements across all HR processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing a small team of HR Advisers to support and deliver pro-active advice which aligns to and support business goal and ensures statutory and regulatory compliance.
Overseeing recruitment, selection and the onboarding process
Provide HR support to directors and senior managers on resourcing and complex employee relations matters, including managing absence, disciplinary, grievances and absence
Develop modern best practice HR policies and procedures, ensuring these are in line with current employment law and regulatory requirements.
Disseminate and train line managers in HR related policies and procedures so that they are confident in their use.
Resolve complex ER issues (including employment tribunals) to deliver commercial and pragmatic outcomes
Provide regular MI business reporting and HR metrics as directed by the HR Director
Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality always having regard to safeguarding responsibilities
Undertake other duties appropriate to your post and/or hours of work and as specified by the Company to assist in ensuring the business goals are met.
About you
Essential -
Degree/master's degree in human resource management or CIPD qualified
Essential -
At least 4 years' experience working in Human Resources
Essential -
Experience of managing and developing an HR team
Essential -
Extensive experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures
Essential -
Knowledge of employment law principles
Organised and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Work with minimal supervision
Experience of HR management information systems
Previous sector experience in a health and regulatory framework would be advantageous.
