The Opportunity

Salary: \xc2\xa322,369 to \xc2\xa322,777 per annum (\xc2\xa311,184 to \xc2\xa311,338 per annum, pro rata\'d - 18.5 hours per week) (\xc2\xa314,509 to \xc2\xa314,774 per annum, pro rata\'d - 24 hours per week)

Contract type: Permanent positions and Fixed term or secondment positions until 31st March 2024

Working pattern: Full time and Part-time, 37, 24 and 18.5 hours per week available

Location: Contractual base is Chichester, with hybrid working options.

Interview date: w/c 02 October and 09 October

Want to kick-start your career? We are looking for multiple part-time and full time HR and Payroll Administrators to join our dynamic team and make a difference

You will provide reliable, efficient and effective flexible specialist payroll support across our services. Having an eye for detail with be invaluable in this role.

Key duties for this role include:

  • Setting up new starter details
  • Processing changes to existing contracts
  • Calculating payroll related information
  • Responding to general customer queries
  • Providing customers with standard information and guidance relating to the service
  • Maintaining employee details on the HR/Payroll system
  • Producing standard correspondence according to set procedures and guidelines
Experience and Skills

Key Skills:
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Clear and effective written communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to analyse specialist information and draw practical conclusions and appropriate actions with an understanding of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Good verbal communication skills for answering telephone queries.
  • The ability to embrace change and adapt to changing situations and new ways of working positively and effectively.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise work, setting timescales and organising activities in collaboration with others to meet objectives and deadlines, including when working under pressure.
Qualifications and/or experience:
  • GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification or experience demonstrating that level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Experience of IT systems, data input, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience of working in a customer orientated environment.
  • Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance to others.
