We are currently looking for a Payroll & HR Coordinator to join us at our M&S ambient food operation at Milton Keynes. Here you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a first-class on-site people service with administrative responsibility for payroll, HR and engagement.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, with potential to extend. You can choose a set shift pattern of Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday. The hours of work are also negotiable, you can work 08:00 - 16:00, 08:30 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 17:00. You choose!

You\'ll be paid a salary of up to \xc2\xa328,128 per annum. What you\'ll do on a typical day:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the monthly and weekly payroll activities within T&A, including additional hours, sickness, absence and holiday
  • Co-ordinate T&A checking processes, ensuring any pay queries or issues are dealt with / escalated promptly
  • Create and issue contracts of employment and new starter packs for operational employees, setting up files and updating systems and spreadsheets
  • Support the HR Advisor on the management of absence, making recommendations and giving advice and support to managers
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Experience in a fast-paced payroll environment, using T&A systems
  • An ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • A collaborative and friendly approach supported by excellent communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work - to get involved in varied tasks across Payroll & HR
